Anker recently unveiled its latest addition to its lineup of audio accessories with the introduction of the Soundcore Sleep A30 earbuds. These earbuds are the successors to the Soundcore Sleep A20 model and come with several new features, the most notable being the inclusion of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).
One of the key upgrades in the new Soundcore Sleep A30 earbuds is the redesigned design, which prioritizes comfort for the user. Additionally, a standout feature of these earbuds is their ability to detect and mask snoring sounds.
Anker has incorporated an Adaptive Snore Masking feature into the earbuds, which is housed within the case. This feature is designed to respond to snoring from a sleeping partner in real time. By utilizing built-in microphones, the case analyzes the volume and frequency of nearby snoring and generates noise masking audio to help drown out the unwanted noise.
In addition to snore detection, the Soundcore Sleep A30 earbuds also offer sleep monitoring and sleep position tracking capabilities. Users can track the quality of their sleep and gain insights into their nightly rest through the accompanying Soundcore smartphone app. Anker has also reduced the size of the earbuds to minimize pressure on the ears during use.
With the inclusion of ANC technology, the Soundcore Sleep A30 earbuds can block up to 30dB of external noise. The ANC feature, which includes two microphones positioned inside and outside the ears, is a drain on battery life. Anker claims that the earbuds can last up to nine hours on a single charge, with a total of 45 hours with the charging case, when used for sleep-related purposes. However, when listening to music or podcasts, the battery life decreases to a maximum of 6.5 hours or 35 hours with the case.
Anker has made the Soundcore Sleep A30 available for pre-order through a Kickstarter campaign, with a planned release in August on Amazon and the brand’s online stores. The earbuds are priced at $229.99, but backers of the Kickstarter campaign can secure a pair for just $159.
