Howard and Danielle Taylor’s relationship is evidence that a biblical understanding of the purpose for marriage is the best foundation for weathering the rough seasons of life.
Danielle didn’t grow up in the church and Howard was raised without a dad. Both adopted unhealthy cycles of relationship they’d learned from their parents. The result was not harmony and intimacy, but arguments, stress and conflict.
Over time, they learned new patterns of relating and communicating with each other, all rooted in a biblical understanding of marriage. Along the way, they discovered that there’s more to marriage than just “doing life together.” God created marriage to enhance our ability to impact the world by combining our gifts and talents with our spouse’s.
Howard and Danielle Taylor are joining me on Focus on the Family with Jim Daly to share how, whether you’ve been married for decades or just a few months, you and your spouse can build your relationship on rock-solid biblical principles that will equip your marriage to endure any storm.
Howard and Danielle are the founders of Marriage on Deck, a marriage media ministry, that has helped many Christian couples reignite their relationships and move beyond romanticized notions of marriage.
