Dee Wallace kicked off her acting career on television with appearances in popular shows like “The Streets of San Francisco,” “Starsky & Hutch,” and “Police Woman.” She made her mark in the horror genre with the box-office hit “The Hills Have Eyes” in 1977. Her role in “The Howling” in 1981 and “Cujo” in 1983, both alongside her husband Christopher Stone, solidified her reputation as a scream queen.

However, it was her role as the mom in Steven Spielberg’s iconic film “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” in 1982 that catapulted her to global fame. This movie became the highest-grossing film of all time at that point. Wallace’s versatility as an actress has allowed her to move seamlessly between horror films and family-friendly projects, including Hallmark Channel movies and appearances in TV shows like “9-1-1.”

In addition to her successful acting career, Wallace is also a best-selling author and a respected authority on self-creation. She has authored several books on the subject, including “Conscious Creation,” “The Big E!,” and “Bright Light,” among others. Her latest offerings, “BORN” and “BuppaLaPaloo,” continue to inspire readers to tap into their creative potential.

As a sought-after speaker, Wallace has shared her insights at various national and international events, including TED Talks and the Love and Harmony Forum in Japan. She continues to host a weekly call-in radio show, conduct webinars, and offer private sessions to clients worldwide, spreading her message of self-empowerment and conscious creation.

Despite the challenges of ageism in the entertainment industry, Wallace remains optimistic and proactive about her career. She emphasizes the importance of self-belief, healthy habits, and a positive mindset in achieving success. By maintaining a strong connection to her passion for acting and a deep love for life, Wallace continues to thrive and inspire others in the industry.
