Samsung has officially unveiled the latest addition to its lineup, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, among other devices at the recent July Unpacked event held in Brooklyn. Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 began on July 9, with the official release date slated for July 25.
This pre-order timeline for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is slightly longer than usual, as Samsung typically ships out pre-orders just over a week after the announcement. However, this time around, customers will have to wait approximately 16 days, a little over two weeks, before receiving their devices.
The standout feature of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is its incredibly slim design, making it the thinnest Galaxy Z Fold device to date. When unfolded, the smartphone measures a mere 4.2mm in thickness, and when folded, it is 8.9mm thin. This puts it on par with other ultra-thin foldable smartphones in the market, such as the OPPO Find N5 and the HONOR Magic V5.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, coupled with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage. For those looking for even more storage, an option with 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM is also available. Despite its slim profile, Samsung has managed to retain a 4,400mAh battery with higher density. Additionally, the camera setup has been upgraded, with a 200-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 10-megapixel ultrawide lens. The under-display camera has been replaced with a 10-megapixel cutout camera, an improvement from previous models.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is now up for grabs, with prices starting at $1,999. However, there are various deals and promotions available that could significantly reduce the cost for interested buyers. Experience the latest in foldable technology with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 today!
