Samsung Electronics is showcasing its connected classrooms at the Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) 2026 Convention in San Antonio. The company is unveiling the WAFX-P, an AI Interactive Display designed for classrooms to enhance student engagement and promote collaboration.
The WAFX-P is powered by the Samsung AI Assistant, offering educators a dynamic and collaborative teaching experience. With tools for organizing content, facilitating discussions, and conducting formative assessments, the display features innovative functions like Circle to Search, AI Summary, and Live Transcript to support student exploration and comprehension of key concepts from the curriculum.
Designed to seamlessly integrate into existing classroom workflows, the WAFX-P is Google EDLA-certified and provides access to familiar tools such as Google Classroom and Google Drive. Available in 65-, 75-, and 86-inch sizes, the display boasts a maximum brightness of 450 nits.
Equipped with a built-in 4K camera, all-in-one video calling capabilities, and running on the Android 15 OS, the Interactive Display also features a built-in microphone and a 20W speaker. Samsung guarantees smooth performance during multitasking and multimedia-rich instruction, enabling real-time collaboration as students write, draw, and work together on the board.
Beyond its product ecosystem, Samsung is committed to supporting teachers and students through initiatives that promote problem-solving, creativity, and real-world learning. The “Samsung Solve for Tomorrow” education program has awarded over $29 million in technology and classroom resources to more than 4,300 schools in the US. This year, entrepreneurs Mark Cuban and Emma Grede are serving as Solve for Tomorrow ambassadors, elevating AI literacy and mentorship among students and educators nationwide. Additionally, in collaboration with the Mark Cuban Foundation, Samsung is expanding free AI training resources for teachers and students.
The WAFX-P Interactive Display for classrooms is set to revolutionize traditional teaching methods, offering a comprehensive solution for educators to create engaging and interactive learning environments. With its advanced features and seamless integration with existing educational tools, Samsung is paving the way for a more immersive and effective classroom experience.
