International Day of Yoga, recognized on June 21st by the United Nations General Assembly, is a day dedicated to celebrating the ancient practice of Yoga. This discipline, known for its physical, mental, and spiritual benefits, is honored on the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere.

At Reebok, the celebration of International Day of Yoga has been deeply ingrained in the company’s culture. What initially began as a single-city Yoga session in 2015 has evolved into a multi-city event across Bangalore, Delhi, and Mumbai. Partnering with Reebok India, organized Yoga sessions following the 26 yoga asanas (Common Yoga Protocol) to promote good health and wellness alongside 191 countries.

The event garnered a significant turnout, with users and fitness enthusiasts coming together for an hour-long Yoga session followed by engaging activities. Additionally, the company’s in-house Yoga coaches traveled nationwide to conduct sessions for employees of corporate wellness and healthcare partners like L&T Infotech, Navionics Tech Ltd, and Manipal Hospitals.

Embracing the digital realm, also celebrated International Day of Yoga within its app. Users were encouraged to partake in simple Yoga tasks and share photos of their favorite Yoga poses. The day concluded with a peaceful Yoga session at the office premises and the launch of the Yoga and Diet Specials Premium Plan.
