Finding the best flight deals can be a daunting task for many travelers. From deciding on destinations to choosing the best dates and flights, there are numerous factors to consider before booking a trip. Luckily, Google has introduced a new AI-powered feature called “Flight Deals” on Google Flights to help alleviate this struggle.
According to Google’s announcement blog, the “Flight Deals” feature is specifically designed for budget-conscious travelers looking to save money on their flights. This tool allows users to input their travel preferences, such as dates, destinations, and flight preferences. Utilizing AI technology, the tool then scours real-time data on Google Flights to find the best deals that match the user’s criteria.
Google provided examples of how users can describe their preferences using the Flight Deals tool, such as requesting a “week-long trip this winter to a city with great food, nonstop only” or a “10-day ski trip to a world-class resort with fresh powder.”
After entering their preferences, the Flight Deals tool will suggest destinations and flights based on the user’s input. Users can choose from the suggested options or try different inputs to explore additional flight deals tailored to their travel needs.
The beta rollout of the Flight Deals feature is set to begin next week for users in the US, Canada, and India. Once available, users can access the tool from the top of the page or the top-left menu on Google Flights. As the rollout is in beta, Google encourages users to provide feedback on the tool’s performance and usability.
