Amazon Prime Big Deals Day 2025: What You Need to Know
Amazon is set to host its second Prime event of the year, known as Prime Big Deals Day, in October. The event is scheduled to take place on October 7-8, kicking off at 12:01 AM PT on October 7.
Embracing the use of AI tools, Amazon is introducing various features for shoppers during the event. This includes the use of Rufus, the shopping assistant, as well as visual search tools like Amazon Lens and Lens Live. With Lens Live, customers can point their cameras at objects and instantly find them on Amazon’s website. Additionally, users can stay updated on deals through Amazon’s new conversational assistant, Alexa+.
Prior to the main event, Amazon is rolling out early deals that feature discounts on Amazon devices and products, Kindle books, and exclusive offers on artist merchandise purchased through Amazon Music or Amazon.com.
Prime members can look forward to exclusive benefits such as early access to tickets for the musical “Wicked: For Good,” discounts on fuel, McDonald’s meals via Grubhub+, and cashback savings for Prime Young Adult members.
Not limited to the U.S., customers in various countries including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, and the UK, among others, will have the opportunity to participate in the Big Deals Day event starting on October 7. For the first time, customers in Colombia, Ireland, and Mexico will also be able to join in on the deals and shopping experience.
The success of Amazon’s first Prime Day event in 2025, held in July, saw the retail industry generating $24.1 billion in online sales over four days, marking a 30.3% year-on-year increase, according to a report by Adobe Analytics. Mobile devices played a significant role in these sales, accounting for more than half of the total transactions.
