Revolutionizing Software Deployment with Tensor9
Enterprises are always on the lookout for cutting-edge software and AI tools to enhance their operations. However, the risk of exposing sensitive data to third-party software-as-a-service (SaaS) providers has been a major concern. This is where Tensor9 comes in, offering a solution that allows software companies to deploy their products directly into a customer’s tech stack.
Tensor9 specializes in converting a software vendor’s code into the necessary format for seamless deployment in a customer’s tech environment. Additionally, the company creates a digital twin of the deployed software, providing a miniature model of the software’s infrastructure for remote monitoring. Whether it’s deploying on cloud servers or bare metal servers, Tensor9 ensures a smooth transition for its clients.
Michael Ten-Pow, the co-founder and CEO of Tensor9, emphasizes the company’s unique approach in transferring software to any premise and utilizing digital twin technology for efficient monitoring. This sets Tensor9 apart from competitors like Octopus Deploy and Nuon, offering a more comprehensive solution for software deployment.
In a recent interview with JS, Ten-Pow highlighted the growing demand for AI technologies in enterprises and financial institutions. However, the challenge lies in safeguarding data while implementing these advanced tools. Tensor9’s technology addresses this issue by enabling companies to deploy software directly into their own tech environments, eliminating the need to share sensitive information with third parties.
The inspiration for Tensor9 stemmed from Ten-Pow’s experience as an ex-engineer at AWS, where he recognized the need for a more streamlined approach to software deployment. Although his initial idea of simplifying SOC 2 certification didn’t materialize, customer feedback revealed a strong demand for on-premise software solutions among enterprises. This insight laid the foundation for Tensor9, which officially launched in 2024.
Since its inception, Tensor9 has gained traction in various industries, particularly in voice AI companies. The company has diversified its services to cater to enterprise search, databases, and data management sectors, collaborating with prominent AI companies such as 11x, Retell AI, and Dyna AI.
Despite bootstrapping for its first year, Tensor9 recently secured a $4 million seed round led by Wing VC and other notable investors. The funding will support the company’s expansion efforts and further development of its technology to accommodate a wider range of verticals.
Ten-Pow envisions a future where software seamlessly adapts to different environments, bridging the gap between on-premise and cloud solutions. This evolutionary approach reflects Tensor9’s commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions, positioning the company as a key player in the software deployment landscape.
